​In sanfter Vorbereitung auf die Osterfeiertage laden wir Sie zu einem ungewöhnlich schönen Repertoire für Gesang, Orgel und Klavier ein. Geistliche und weltliche Lieder zum Thema der gestillten Sehnsucht, kombiniert mit wunderbarer Solo-Orgel- und Klaviermusik. Werke von J.S.Bach, Reinberger, Elgar und Wagner, unter anderen.

Endlich ist es wieder so weit, pünktlich zur festlichen Jahreszeit laden wir sie gerne zu Musik und Heiterkeit ein.
Gerade jetzt ist doch die Zeit in der man an all das Gute und Schöne denkt, sich an den einfachen Dingen erfreuen die alle verbinden, wie Weihnachtslieder, ein warmes Feuer und etwas heißes zu Trinken.
Wir bereiten auch wieder hausgemachten Punsch vor und wir werden uns noch ein paar Feuerschalen aus der Nachbarschaft ausborgen, damit es auch schön gemütlich wird.
Natürlich ist uns die aktuelle Lage klar und wir gehen mit so viel Sorgfalt vor wie möglich. Alles findet in unserem Garten unter freiem Himmel statt, da kann sich jeder so viel Platz nehmen wie er möchte. Man kann sich mit der Corona Warn App einloggen und/oder direkt vorher ein personalisiertes Ticket klicken, das hilft uns auch beim Vorbereiten, damit wir wissen wie viele Stühle wir raus stellen.
Die ganze Aktion ist natürlich nicht nur mit viel Zeitaufwand verbunden. Über eine Spende würden wir uns schon sehr freuen, dass würde uns einige Last von den Schultern nehmen.

Open your ears. "Öffnen Sie Ihre Ohren" für etwas, dass ein bisschen anders ist. Entdecken Sie mit uns moderne und zeitgenössische Musik. Dieses Konzert hofft, das erste in einer Reihe von "klassischen" Musikkonzerten zu sein, die den Gebrauch der Stimme für musikalischen Ausdruck während der letzten 121 Jahre erforschen. Wir werden neue Musik von gestern, neo-romantische, neo-klassische, experimentelle und aleatorische Werke präsentieren. Wir werden improvisieren und dramatisieren. Wir werden bequeme, schöne Musik aufführen und seltsame, schwierige Musik. Wir werden Grenzen setzen und brechen und diskutieren, ob das sinnvoll, akzeptabel oder relevant ist. Lassen Sie sich inspirieren, seien Sie kritisch, lassen Sie sich besänftigen und provozieren...

Despite the very long lockdown in 2021, we were able to perform our first concert very successfully on April 25th, 2021. The concert was moved to a balcony that was clearly visible from the street across the street. From there, the singers and pianists make music for over 80 delighted spectators.

Musical advent calendar 2020

Counting the days until Christmas with an Advent calendar is one of the wonderful traditions in Germany for brightening up the dark months of November and December. Every day a "door" of the calendar is opened, behind which a small present or candy is hidden.
It was too cold to perform outside. It was also difficult to organize the rehearsals and practicing for the performances as there were restrictions in dealing with the COVID pandemic.
We decided to make a small musical gift for all of our friends and neighbors. "A Christmas Carol per Day" was the theme of our Advent calendar: a capella performances of some of the greatest Christmas carols of all time.
Concert in the Wild # 3 of Mythical Creatures and Shadows of the Night
October 31, 2020
On October 31, 2020 we had a concert in the garden before the next lockdown began and the cold weather settled over Berlin. Jennifer Arnold, mezzo-soprano, Sonja Isabel Reuter, soprano and Darren Mark Saady, piano performed wonderful masterpieces on the subject of "Mythical Creatures and Shadows of the Night".
Mahler's Kindertoten songs, songs and arias about ghosts and fantastic creatures by Benjamin Britten or Rebecca Clarke and the wonderful song to the moon from Rusalka were among the ghostly, beautiful music that was performed on Halloween in our open-air concert garden.
The audience was warmed by the eight glowing fires that burned between the chairs and by the delicious hot homemade mulled wine and warm cider. It was another fantastic evening with friends, family and community.
Concert in the Wild # 2 of Longing and Love
19th September 2020
"Concert in the Wild" # 2 with Jennifer Arnold, mezzo-soprano, Sonja Isabel Reuter, soprano and Darren Mark Saady at the piano, took place on September 19, 2020. On the program on the subject of "Of longing and love" were the wonderful baroque opera duet between Nero and Poppea from the final scene of Monteverdi's masterpiece "L'incoronatione di Poppea", Carmen's famous aria "Habanera" and wonderful duets by Max Reger, among other inspiring ones Works.
About 50 guests enjoyed the airy garden while they sipped wine, mineral water, and champagne, and the music floated in the trees. It was nice to spend time with friends and neighbors and to share this experience together.
