In 2003 I moved to Germany for the first time, where I took piano and lied courses at the Trossingen University of Music. It was there that my interest in opera was sparked, which inspired me to work in the opera field after my return to Australia. Then I went back to the Conservatory of Music in Sydney, where I completed my studies in opera accompaniment with Stephen Mold in 2010 with another master's degree.
